We should make another poll to see if the Red Sox will have as many votes as the others combined.
Im pretty sure the D-backs only have 1 fan on here...(I think we all know who it ishe's our top all time poster...)
Lakers/Cardinals/Patriots/Penguins
Red Sox are winning!
RSR is gonna have to choose.
If he chooses the Red Sox I'll sick some animals on him.![]()

Speaking of band wagon fans I was thinking about something.
If you are say RSR and metsguy you can root for the Yanks or Sox and it doesn't make u a band wagon fan. If in 10 years from now they both stink and they still root for them, they are a fan.
I rooted for the braves because their logo was like the logo my peewee hockey team had when i was a little kid. (new haven warriors). now even tho we have not won the division in the last few years I still stand by my team, even tho my second team... thats right wait for it... the METS have been doing alright... I still will always be a Braves fan at heart (unless they fu*k up with chipper like they did with smoltz, and even then I cant see switching my alliance.) Its not who you start rooting for its who you root for when your team stinks... I mean think about it... you live in the bay area... Bonds is gone... the Dodgers stink and the Angels are a good team... who are YOU as a kid, going to root for? The yanks stink and the Mets are good or vis versa... which one wound u pick to root for? as a kid of COURSE you are going to pick the better team

I think that there are definitely more Red Sox fans on here; primarily new Sawx fans due to the fact that they've recently done well.
I've been a Red Sox fan for pretty much my entire life (I was born in '85, and started watching baseball around age 3 or 4, so you do the math!). Bandwagon fans, especially those who bandwagon the Yanks and the Sox annoy me to no end. I remember the late 80's early 90's (Mike Greenwell anyone?) when BOTH the Sox and Yanks sucked; nobody except for the most diehard fans stomached watching them. Then when the Yanks started winning almost everyone was a Yanks fan, able to run off stats and players like they knew what they were talking about. C'est la vie. I grew up in south Jersey, pretty much right next to Philly, and I was one of a few who hate (and still do, mind you) the Phillies... not to mention the Eagles. Go Bucs!!! Anyway, to someone like me, who has been a fan for a while, it's almost an insult. At least to me.
