    Thanks for Endy Chavez and taking Reed :P I remember watching a game where Reed had problems getting to routine flyballs out in RF and then eventually broke his hand diving to make a catch that he took a bad path to. At least you guys have enough backups though

    So, here you call the Mets outfield "mediocre". Meanwhile, in another thread, you're saying they have no holes, and are 100% against acquiring a player who would immediately move that outfield from "mediocre" to "awesome."

    In this context, OF=Outfielders

    The Mets have a bunch of crappy outfielders (Kielty, Mackowiak, Anderson, Reed, etc.) but that doesn't mean we have a crappy outfield.

    Church is good....when he's on the field.

    And, especially considering he's coming back from an injury that has ruined some player's careers and really hurt others, a concussion, you can't bank on him giving too much.
