    How exactly is a "Toronto sports team run by idiots" article news? Please, that's what we tend to refer to as 'the way things always are' up here. JP Ricciardi can't tell the difference between a ballplayer and a lamp post.

    While I don't totally disagree with the article, the author completely fails to point out that after the disastrous years of being owned by a Belgian beer company that didn't feel like spending ANY money, the Jays stock was so far down the proverbial toiler that NOBODY else was interested in buying them AND the Skydome (aka 'the great financial albatross') for half of what Rogers put up. It's all well and good to ***** and whine about the current owner not stepping up...problem is, there were NO other options.
