    1992-2008 Pennant Winners Sim Tournament

Another Whatifsports.com SimMatchup Baseball tournament, this time it'll be all pennant winners. Here are the rules:

All pennant winning teams from 1992-2008 (a total of 32 will be used in this tournament). For this tournament, there will be 16 competitors, each will have 2 teams in the tournament. Now here's the twist:

Random.org will randomly be used to select your two teams. It will be also used to randomly seed the tournament, and the matchups will be based on those randomized seeds (1 vs. 32, 2 vs. 31, etc.). Each matchup will be a best of 7 series.

So, sign up now, once we have 16 in, I'll randomize the teams and we can start the tournament.

Sure, don't let the '91 Twins in there. I guess I'll take the '01 D'Backs.

EDIT: I can't read none too good. Nevermind about Arizona then.

Just wondering, why the 1992-2008 cutoff? That's 17 years, 34 teams.

I think he meant '93-2008, seeing as he wants 32 people. And I will take the 2004 Red Sox

    Right.

Now, my next question, what exactly is the point if you can't pick teams? I mean, "for fun" sure, but, it's just entirely luck...

For fun. That's it. After this I'll organize an all-time worst teams tournament again where people can pick whatever team they want.

As do I. Maybe I will hold my own version of this, and separate from the state, allowing you to have a choice!
