All those guys will end up playing relatively the same amount as Felix. It doesn't matter if Felix gets to 40, he'll be way past his prime. I'm talking for the next 8 years or so I would take these guys.
Albert Pujols
Hanley Ramirez
David Wright
Felix Hernandez

5 years of age doesn't make a difference when players are in their primes. Those guys above are either just entering or haven't hit their primes yet.

Aaargh! Too many friggen polls.
As I said in the other thread, the attrition rate on pitchers is incredibly high. Taking a pitcher to start your team off would likely wind up burning you.
That is why Pujols. I was just making a point that Felix shouldn't even be on the poll. If it be a pitcher, make it someone just as youthful, but better than Felix. I can't believe he got any votes. Oh well.

Why is there 2 threads for the same topic?
Economic Left/Right: -7.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -8.72

Mogul No No's and Perfect Games:
2008 Royals-Gil Meche No hitter in 10 innings 1-0 final score
2038 Padres-Matthew Graham Perfect Game 1-0 victory!
One is a poll...I think that is the answer to both questions
He started the first thread to get ideas and the second thread as a poll with the ideas, I suppsoe.

It was unnecessary to include Felix in the poll.

This is my favorite "pole" so far.
Hanley Ramirez
Amazing hitting/fielding shortstops are harder to find amazing hitting/fielding first basemen
I don't think Hanley is an 'amazing' fielding shortstop
More along the lines of "below average"
