yea metsguy has been banned 6 or 7 time and he's still around 1 day bans aren't good enough but permaban's are a little to harsh i'd say monthy bans and weekly bans not 1 day bans

A monthly ban might drive someone away anyways. I am sure quite a few people would disappear after a monthly ban, likely forgetting about the site altogether.

How about people gain enough self control to not come to the point of a ban. It is quite simple: Have productive, reasonable debating and input instead of "hey so and so did this...." or "so and so said this....". That is the core problem. Those types of threads are easy to stay away from because they don't contribute to this forum at all whatsoever. It is beyond annoying to see all these ridiculous, name-calling and whiny threads that basically add posts to user's accounts and don't add anything worthwhile. Those involved in these types of threads, I wish and hope, would realize this and stray away from getting involved with them or even starting them altogether. I've said my peace, thanks and good night.
