    Lions Clean House: Sort of...

I think you have to get rid of everyone here, from upper management on down. Get that culture of losing out of Detroit.

Agreed. Also, get rid of the fans. They are terrible!

Yep, but honestly, do we really think the Lions can pull off what the Dolphins did this year? I mean, Miami was really hit hard by injuries last year, while the Lions just kinda suck...

...if they do plan on turning it around, they need a lot of new personnel, both in the front office and on the field. Draft a QB (Matt Stafford?) and build around the QB-to-Calvin Johnson connection.

I think the best candidate to "pull a Miami" next year is the Chiefs. Their offense actually was kinda decent in the 2nd half of the year and while their record was obviously crappy...they played a lot of competitive games and should've probably won two or three more games. The team was loaded with young players and you'd have to think some of them will get better.. Add in a weak division and a new GM/coach (maybe) and well..you never know in the NFL.

The Lions are way, way, way behind any other team in the NFL. They pretty much have absolutely nothing.
My runs created per 27 posts (RC/27p) was 12.4 last year. I should've been MVP.

I agree...the Chiefs seem the most set up to have a quick turnaround...ridding themselves of Larry "Idiot" Johnson's overrated ass and having another good draft could do wonders for that team.

As for Detroit...okay, when the Hell did they make MARTIN MAYHEW their GM? All I remember about Mayhew was him as an above average at best corner. Now he's the GM? How long has he even been in management...FIVE YEARS?! What an absolutely ridiculous choice.

This whole franchise needs a clean sweep. Just start EVERYTHING over.

The Browns have a shot at a turnaround, with all of their offensive "underachieving" talent. That's IF they keep everyone around. They are also trying to get quality management and coaching, etc., unlike the Lions.
