Sorry, but no. Ryan isn't nearly as valuable to that team in terms of numbers as Turner is. Don't get me wrong, Ryan is a huge part of the turnaround as well, but why do you think Ryan has done so well this season? Because Turner forces the defense to play more men in the box and gives the passing game more opportunities.

Matt Ryan will definitely get an MVP at some point in his career, just not this year.

Now, Ryan for Offensive Rookie of the Year...THAT is a definite possibility. I personally think Ryan Clady should win it, but I'd have no issue with Ryan taking it.

I give Matt Ryan points for degree of difficulty with his position but but can't put up much of an argument with Turner either. I'm sure they both benefit from the other.

I am not saying Eli Manning should get it, but he deserves to be ahead of atleast 1/3 of the people on the list

Agreed. I'd argue that he's the favorite.

This statement completely, 100% coincides with my thoughts

OROY, in my opinion, is a 2 horse race (Ryan & Chris Johnson)

    Eli:
    QB Rating - 14th
    Yards per Attempt - 21st
    Passing Yards - 17th
    TD Passes - T 10th
    Completion % - 19th
    Attempts - 11th

Looks like he barely makes it as being in the top 1/3 of all QBs, much less top 1/3 of an MVP candidate list...but don't let stats get in the way (or the fact that he's not the MVP of his own team, who also isn't listed in the poll options)
