If metsguy or anyone else wants to say insulting and denigrating things aobut someone with a degenerative nerve condition though... well, let's just say that he's lucky I'm not wearing a "moderator hat" right now and leave it at that.

No, I agree... it's just... this does disgust me. I can overlook intentional ignorance and irrational bias to the fact that he's just young, big deal, so what. Stopping to this level is inexcusable in my opinion though, and I'd rather stoop to nearly his level then simply let it go.
