No he was a redshirt freshman last year. If we're wrong Mel Kiper has been telling us lies since September 3 about who the top QB in the draft is.
He much like Crabtree is a redshirt sophomore.

In 2008, as a redshirt sophomore, Bradford became the second sophomore to win a Heisman Trophy. Bradford also holds the NCAA record for touchdown passes by a freshman, with 36.
You guys are right, he's a redshirt.
I voted QB, but the better option for the Lions would be to trade this pick to move down, and acquire more draft along the way given how much this team needs.
sorry for a simple typing error. I'm sure you've had a few typing errors in your life. No need to point out such a minor error. Like I stated before if a QB worth drafting #1 overall is there draft him, if not you build the lines and the defense. They have a #1 WR and Smith is showing he can be a #1 HB. Focus on those lines and get competitors. That team yesterday just showed that they've packed it in.
then & than have 2 huge differences....either they draft a qb #1 thEn sign vick, or they draft a #1 qb thAn sign vick...one scenario leads to them signing vick as a viable option & 1 doesn't
hence why I said normally I wouldn't point out a simple typo, but here it was necessary
I still highly doubt that 99% of the board was confused by the meaning....If they were fine, but like I said I'm sure they all understood what I meant. I understand what you mean, and that's cool and all, but was it really necessary? It's not like there was an outcry of people saying why would they draft a QB and sign Vick...that's just dumb. People do make typing errors. I know the difference between the words I was just typing a response and didn't feel a need to proof read. Sorry, again.
Back on topic...sorta. Closer to draft time do you think there will be a what does your team need to do in the draft type thread? If not it'd be interesting to see what people think their team may or may not need.
The Broncos need several things. A viable halfback that can be a game breaker would be priority number one. Pittman was decent this season until his injury but he wasn't someone that would break the back of a defense.
Seeing as how they have their first round pick this year I'm gonna say go defense. If Malaluga somehow drops to Broncos level (pick...13-16? I want to say...) he's the priority. A strong linebacker who is quick and can make plays. Also, a safety has to be thought about. Mcree and Manuel can't be trusted and both are injury prone.
The Broncos need a lot of things but if they can pick up an Edge James in a trade (since he hates the Cardinals) then maybe they can get back on if he gets back to how he was in Indy then the defense becomes the priority in the draft. Cutler and the line and the recievers are among the best in the league so defense and running game is what Denver needs to become a contender.
lol yeah. the broncos have proven though this year that they have runners capable of succeeding in their system. Hillis did quite well in his time. I don't think HB is really even a high priority for them IMO. I'd go with the defense especially up the middle...the tackles, linebackers and safeties seemed weak while I was watching them.
Yep. Tackles and MLB's and safeties are big priorities.
Bailey is one of the top corners in the league (hopefully he stays healthy) Bly is decent enough to play.
Dumervil is the only bright spot on the D-line really.
I still think the Broncos need a gamebreaker at tailback. As good as Hillis was he didn't have the speed to take this to a whole new level.
Shanahan really likes the Torain kid and he has shown some promise but his knee injury could hold his development back. Same with Andre Hall. If we could get a gamebreaker the offense would go crazy.
yeah. a couple years didn't they draft 2 DE/OLB hybrid type guys in the 1st and 2nd rounds? What ever happened to them? I know one was a kid from Florida. What ever happened to DJ Williams too? He was a pretty good outside linebacker a couple years ago and I heard they discussed moving him inside. Did it hurt him? If that team can focus more on the defense and improve it and like you said perhaps get Edge for a 4th round pick or so then your golden. This draft is pretty weak on running backs so it would be best to improve the defense. Excellent points though.
