This is great. He earned it. I'm always a HUGE fan of the older players. I loved Jesse Orosco pitching effectively for the Dodgers at 45. It's a really cool and interesting thing to root for. I hope he sees this contract through without struggling. If anyone can do it, he's the guy.

300 wins is a stretch, considering it would take 3 more seasons AS GOOD as he was in 2008. If he can pitch until 50, he could do it. Somehow, I don't see that happening. For one, I doubt he has that goal in mind, at all. For another, 50 is OLD.

But it is Jamie Moyer. His HOF potential gets a lot higher and higher with each game he starts from here on out.

246 wins now. 54 to go. That's 4 more seasons like this one.

I'd bet against him, but I'll be pulling for him

Same as Glavine and Maddux did.

Not only medicine but I think a generally healthier lifestyle, fitness and nutrition.

I'm a little older, so I remember injuries to pitchers back in the 70's and 80's, I just don't remember as many 40+ year olds back then. Sure there were a few physical specimans but I don't believe as many as there are now and certainly not as many as there will be in the future.

IT for Moyer isn't his fast ball-clearly.

IT is something else. And whatever IT is, when he loses IT, Moyer's done because there's nothing else
