    NFL Futility

The Raiders have accomplished something even Detroit, or even the early Tampa Bay teams havent been able to do. That is lose 11 or more games for 6 seasons in a row. 0-16 might be impressive with Detroit, but Oakland has been way more consistent to keep the long term goal of losing intact.

I would personally like to thank Al Davis for being a complete idiot. Trashing basically 40 years of excellence, with 6 years of absurdity and arrogance.

The Bucs are the unquestioned kings of futility. They hold the record for most consecutive losses (26) & most consecutive 10 loss seasons (12...they lucked into a 7-9 1995 season before having another 10 loss season in '96). Some may argue the Lions have been at least as bad as the Raiders recently w/ 7 of the last 8 seasons containing at least 10 losses...their lone bright spot, a 7-9 season where they lost 7 of their last 8...needless to say their current streak of 15 straight Ls isn't helping their case for credibility)

It would take a lot more losing for Oakland to become the king of futility, but for such a storied franchise to become this bad with the same guy that brought them success is insane.

I agree with that. Such a quick dropoff would be tough to swallow

He'd probably fire you, and have an hour press conference detailing how he love wearing jump suits.
