I dont "break everything down in pretty much every thread". What I do comment on, however, is the tendency of some people to never let the facts get in the way of a good, biased opinion.

Dude, I WAS in fact joking around. I had just heard that Vegas had the Yankees as the favorites to when the World Series, and I actually laughed when I saw that... I was merely taunting that... Maybe I should have gave some indication that I was joking around about the Yankees as being favorites, as this IS just an internet board. You can believe what you want/chose to believe, though, as I don't really care.

No, at first I didn't mention Vegas, but I also didn't say that I personally had had the Yanks as favorites to win the World Series. I believe that we need to add another SP, a big time bat, a CF'er, and a 1B... Of course the big time bat can be the CF'er or 1B.

When you say "The Yankees are favorites..." the only implication there is that it's YOUR opinion, considering you didn't quality it with "according to Vegas..." or some such.

100% agree on that point alone. all you would have had to say, in order to not ruffle feathers, is state this instead of making it look like it was your opinion and not expressing it was not. we unfortunatly do not have mind reading caps (tho at one point I did but I washed it with out using color safe bleeach and aparently it really does ruin stuff )

No, actually I was waiting for people to question that statement... then I was going to post that it is according to Vegas. I actually didn't expect the amount of responses to it, and the rudeness of most of the responses to it. Plus, like I said before, I had just heard that Vegas had the Yankees passing the Red Sox in terms of odds to win the WS, so I was joking when I made that statement.
