As for interleague, I can take it or leave it. Don't hate it but not that excited about it either. But for anyone who thinks the NL should adopt the DH......

I'm for interleague play...apart from the prospect of various "derbies" (subway series; Cubs v White Sox; etc), it would settle some arguments over which giants of which league would prevail over the heroes of t'other league.

If I had my druthers, I'd arrange the schedule so that each N.L team would play a series with each A.L.during a season.

Sure, this would mean that each team would have to play over 200 games per (extended) season, but that way, the baseball fans would get more bang for their buck, those ball-playing millionaires would have to work a bit harder for theirs, and those profligate owners could throw away their bucks on domed stadia.

As I see it, the baseball season would end in October, as now, take a break in the Fall -so ensuring minimum competition with Football -the baseball Franchises doing all their paperwork; conferences; "Spring Training" (within those domed stadiums); etc, in the period November through January - then begin the next season on February 1st.

I look forward to the BM version which affords the ability for us to arrange our own schedules, in order to try out this theory

Mostly ambivalent, but since I see mostly AL games, seeing the NL with the pitcher batting is good. The exposure to other teams, and the curve it throws everyone, is a good thing.

On the other hand, I get sick of seeing my team face the same 4 teams in its division 80 times, then see everyone else for 2 series in the AL, and then cram like 6 interleague series in there as well. It seems unfair that the Sox play the Braves for 6 games or something, but only play the Tigers for 6. WTF?

I would like a more balanced schedule, but interleague is a fine thing.

I like it. I go to one interleague series at Coors a year. This year I'm going to the Rays series. I just like seeing the big name clubs. Watched em take two of three from the Sox in 2004 at Coors. Saw em sweep the Yanks in 07 at Coors. Watched em murder the Indians in 08 at Coors. It's fun for me to see the Rockies play these AL teams.

This data would be more interesting if it included the attendance habits of those who answered the question.

I'd speculate that people who attend games more frequently, and who primarily attend only NL or AL games, like interleague play more than others
