    Big Unit in Oakland?

I know he is passed his prime but this could be huge for us as far as drawing fans to the park. Veterans near the end of their careers have worked for us before, I would be stoked to get him.

I would have liked to see him with the Cubs, would've loved to see a rotation with him and Peavy and co.

If everyone went to the Braves that you wanted to go to the Braves, their pay roll would be something like $9,827,201,888

I would be happy with 25 Starts, Era near 4.00. That would be huge.

absolutly. the thing with teh Brave was they resigned all their own players. the only REally big name they ever signed was Maddux. Terry Pendelton in 1990?(or was it 91). other than that most of the guys we had with the big payroll was from internal. Its not so much that the yanks are hated for spending the most... its that they are always 1st in line for f/a's. And don't forget... Maddux took less to play with the Braves when he signed... the Yanks had the biggest offer
