Or does the SEC just have so many dysfunctional offenses it makes the defense look great? Auburn, South Carolina, Mississippi State, LSU all had terrible offenses this year...it makes the defenses of the conference look phenomenal.

I'm not totally disagreeing. Alabama, Florida and SC all have awesome D units but it's not exactly the offensive showcase of a conference to test a D now is it?

UT,Texas Tech and OU have. Just like only Florida, Alabama and Ole Miss have played offense all year in the SEC.

I think numbers can mislead people in this situation on both sides.

Don't forget Tennessee. They were the worst of the bunch.

It will be interesting to see what Lane will do over there. Based on all the Raider fans I know, they wanted Kiffin to stay and Rob Ryan to go.

    Harrell>

The committee can pick up to 5 to come to NY. The writer stated the surprise was Harrell was not invited.

    No RB>

The last time this happened was when Eric Crouch won the Heisman.

I could have sworn the article said 5, I could be wrong though. I believe when Crouch won they did invite 6.

Re: Heisman Finalists-who should win poll

I honestly can't see how Tebow should win over Bradford.

    Tebow - 176 QB Rating, 2515 pass yards, 28 TD's, 2 INT's, 64.9 completion percentage, 12 rushing TD's

    Bradford - 186 QB Rating, 3121 pass yards, 48 TD's, 8 INT's, 69.5 completion percentage, 0 rushing TD's

and just for the hell of it...

    Colt McCoy - 179 QB Rating, 3445 pass yards, 32 TD's, 7 INT's, 77.6 completion percentage, 10 rushing TD's

Bradford is clearly better than the both of them to me, and McCoy is definitely closer to him than Tebow is. I think Tebow is only getting all this attention because he won it last year and he's fresh in people's minds right now, because as far as I'm concerned Bradford is easily the winner, and McCoy is much closer to him than Tebow is.

I thought Bradford was over 4000 yds passing.

I would have to say most years the SEC is a little better then the Big 12 but this year it is the contrary.

Honestly, if football did a SEC vs. Big 12 weekend like basketball does with the ACC/Big Ten Challenge that would be awesome.

One game per team...best conference shows it on the field. I would watch that for sure.
