"The network soft-launched on December 16, 2008 with a rolling automated loop of archival programming and promotions for the network on some of the cable systems that will carry the network leading up to the January 1 launch."

If your provider carries MLB Extra Innings you will get this channel (and you don't need to buy Extra Innings to get it)

We get MLB Extra Innings up here in this part of Canada, but I thought I heard it wasn't launching up here, which would suck. Stupid 90% hockey content sports media.

They don't go all over the world, though. Anywhere outside of North America it's pretty hard to get anything, from my understanding. Hell, it's hard to get out of market games within North America, since the leagues control their broadcasts with such an iron fist.

You think that you can get sporting event Torrents, eh? Good luck with that.

My buddy told me that on his MLB package they blacked out the Dodger games for him, yet we live 4 to 5 hours away from Los Angeles and he had to pick up the visitors feed in order to watch the game. Its pretty amusing how things work nowadays.
