    Welcome aboard ! ! !

Although, it looks like the voting on these forums is much like real life, in the 60's%, but not enough to make it.
    *sigh*

I really don't get it. Like someone pointed out before, EVERY other pitcher eligible with over 3,000 K's is in, and he is FIFTH ALL-TIME with over 3,700 K's.

I dunno, he pitched well on medicore to lousy teams and his wins could've easily topped 300 if he just pitched his whole career with medicore teams skipping the lousy ones. He spent years in Cleveland and Texas when he'd pitch well, but, well, Cleveland and Texas didn't win a lot. Minnesota fielded some decent teams at times, but they too had some poor ones. He'd probably have pushed 325 or so for his career if he'd only spent most of his time on really good teams.

Oh well, Bert, FWIW, I saw you pitch and you're a HOF in my mind!

Maybe he's bitter that the Phillies were just about the only team Rickey DIDN'T play for at some point in his career.

Is Dan Plesac (1 Vote) really better than Jay Bell and Ron Gant who got zero votes?

dan plesac was a strikeout machine, and he leads brewers career pitchers with era and saves

It's the BASEBALL Hall of Fame, not the Brewers Hall of Fame.

Also, 1,041 K's in 1,072 innings isn't really a "strikeout machine." Good, yes, but Hall-worth? No.

At any rate, what the hell is the argument against Rickey Henderson?

Ah, that explains it then. I was wondering why you voted for that many players but NOT Rickey Henderson.

Maybe we should go back and ask all the real HoF voters who made bizarre omissions if the issue was their doing their ballots at 3:30 in the morning.

DarthJaker didn't either... Tommy John, Mark McGwire, and MO VAUGHN? Hopefully that's another "wrong vote" like phillies999 did in voting for the wrong person (John instead of Henderson).

Yeah I wasn't really paying attention, that's who'd I'd vote for, which is why I said them.
