    Jets sink the TITANic

Wow the Jets brought their A-game to the Titans and smothered them in their own stadium. The Jets are the new team to beat.

I still think Tampa is the true team to beat this year.

I think the team to beat might be that one team that is 10-1 and won the Super Bowl last year. Maybe.

Yah, don't get too high on the Jets. The Titans aren't as great as their record indicates, and I think the Jets would get pummeled by the Giants, and the Cardinals, Steelers, Bucs, and maybe Panthers/Falcons would certainly give them a rough time.

    Re: Jets sink the TITANic

Just because the Jets beat the Titans in a game in November doesn't make them the anointed ones of the AFC. The Titans would probably beat that 8 times out of 10, and all the teams that EP Hotties mentioned would certainly be a rough game for the Jets.

Actually, the Jets took the Cards out behind the woodshed earlier this year, 56-35. But other than that, I don't think the Jets are a Super Bowl bound team.

You're defiantly not a Patriots fan.

I'm not, actually. I hate the Patroits, especially Brady. I'm a cold stone Falcons fan.

The Giants are still the team to beat by FAR.

I still think the Steelers are the best team in the AFC.

But you gotta watch out for those broncos.

I'd agree with that if the Steelers can improve their O-Line play and can get Willie Parker healthy. Their defense has been very impressive. I think there is a stat that they are yet to give up 300+ yards of total offense this season.

The AFC is looking wide open about now. I hate to say it, but it looks like the Giants are the class of the league right now, they are unstoppable.

You might want to check out that OTHER New York team...you know, the one that also runs the ball at will, throws it all over the field, might have the best offensive line in the game...oh, and THEY have a defense that kills quarterbacks.

An all New York super bowl is very possible.
