    Mussina was an outstanding pitcher, both with the Orioles and the Yankees. He will be missed.

    To be fair, it usually starts off with a Red Sox fan saying something that can be construed as arrogant.

    And, of course, when a Yankee fan says something like that, that thread degenerates into a Yankee fan bashing.

    So, the ridiculousness goes both ways.

    The only thing Hall of Famey about Mussina is his jerkishness. Of course, there are a lot of jerks in the Hallowed Hall, so I'm sure he'll fit right in, should he get the call.
