Honestly, who cares if you won 3 World Series in a row 10 years ago? Quit living in the past and accept and live with what the team is in the here and now, be it for better or worse.

If you'd won three in a row the past three years, fine, I would respect that. But you didn't, so unless you can rationalize to me how something your team did 10 years ago can tell anybody anything about how good they are now, why not use an argument that makes sense?

I thought he was talking about winning three MVP's in a row....which I'm not sure has been done. I didn't think for a second what the WS has to do with Pedroia winning the MVP*. Especially since no one even mentioned the WS.
