Like I said, if it bothers you, turn them off and then if somebody says "OMG CHECK OUT THIS FUNNY IMAGE LMAO!!!", then you can choose to click the link. That way, you don't have to deal with other "ugly" pictures you might not want to see. Again, you can still see people's signatures (if you want - you can disable them as well though), but you can just disable the images.

I generally don't mind pictures. I never had until RSR and metsguy's signatures...so, I don't want to turn off ALL images, just to block out two (now one) signature that annoys me.

If you're using Firefox, get the Ad Block extension. You can block specific images with it.
