Aces and Yankees agree to trade

The Aces and Yankees agreed to a trade that would send OF Jermaine Dye (86) to the Yankees for C Jesus Montero (63/82), CF Tom Heiar (61/79) and 500K. This trade was a salry dump so the Aces can get enough under the budget to sign their targets.

    The Aces sign 2

The Aces and Albert Pujols have agreed on a 6 year 18.85M deal with a player option for 2017 worth 18.85M. Pujols will start at 1B.

The Aces also agreed to sign RP Trevor Hoffman to a 2 year 6.5M deal with a player option for 2013 worth the same.

The Aces are finished signing free agents for the offseason. They are 828,000 under their budget.

    Final Comment

Not much space left under the budget but we filled two holes in the team.

The Aces and Braves agree on trade

The Aces and Braves agreed on a trade that would send SP Scott Kazmir (89) and RP Humberto Sanchez (76/79) to the Braves for SP Jair Jurrjens (88), LF Cody Johnson (68/89) and 500K cash.

Before you say the Braves were ripped off. They actually wanted to offer me 17M cash along with Jurrjens. I clicked on a prospect and the cash went down to 500K cash. It may be hard top believe but its the honest truth.

    Re: 2008 Baton Rouge Aces

    USA Today

MLB has announced that the Baton Rouge Aces would be moved to the AL Central. In the realignment the Cleveland Indians would move to the AL East as they are the eastern most team in the AL Central. This move comes a little over 2 years after the Aces moved to Baton Rouge. The change will take effect for the 2012 season.

As I have started the season.
