Even without Cassel, there are a LOT of rookies who deserve consideration this year on offense. Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Chris Johnson, Matt Forte...and Ryan Clady and Jake Long should be, but offensive linemen never win.

How bad are the Detroit Lions? They sign a QB on Tuesday who hasn't played football in a year. Then he STARTS THE GAME 5 days later. There is no way he knows more than 25% of the offense! That's just pathetic.
Really? I would think offensive players would win more. And yea, I think Matt Ryan will win it, he is cool

Well, an offensive PLAYER wins it ever year (there's one for O and one for D), but offensive LINEMEN almost never win it.

rockiesfan the only reason Herm is dumb now is because it didn't work. If that play worked KC would be calling him a great coach.

(Much like Shanahan in Week 2. If that two point conversion didn't work who knows what complaints he would have gotten)

I agree with Even. KC's D would not have stopped the Chargers in OT. Your 1-7 and you have a chance at a huge upset. Take the chance and go for the win

I dunno, I've long though Herm Edwards is a terrible coach, regardless of one call on a conversion.

RedSox : Hockey's #2 for me, Baseball and hoops are tied for third. Curling's actually kinda fun to PLAY, but awful to watch (along the same lines as poker).

I love hockey...just not as much as football. And, yeah, baseball's third. I still enjoy it, just not as much as hockey or football.

It is the most simple sport of all... Beat the living **** outta your opponent! (Except it's a little more complex than just that)
