Yeah, that's exactly the way I looked at it. Thrift wanted $1,000,000.00 Cash to give up Wakefield, which I was not prepared to do. At least, not right now. As you said, giving up Buckner to get Alou makes it much easier to give up Houser, plus, Houser is a center fielder, which is blocked by Ellis Burks.
