    depends on what you mean "for real" ..

    will they be a competitive team next year, sure, but they won't be as good. thier Bullpen performed extremely well, and is boun to fall off some next year, but the starting pitching and hittins should be just as good.


    meaning, as things standing, they are an 86-90 win team and should be in the play-off mix.

    I'm being facetious...it's 2 weeks after they were in the WS and im still asking the same question sports analysts were asking all year.

    they can't keep up with the sox, yankees, and bluejays for long unless they open up that wallet. But yes, they have an incredible young talent in that organization.

    Yes, they can. Most of their core is locked up long-term.
