K-Rod's career WHIP is 1.11. Over the last two years, it's 1.27. Papelbon's career WHIP is 0.93.

probably im sure just due to the walks... thats a pretty big difference tho. an extra 3 hitters per 10 innings for K-Rod... I don't like it

I assuming you making a misguided remark at saves ...of course we all know you're just saying that because you know that its incorrect, and are trying to play off your earlier poor comment by making an outlandishly dumb comment.

Oh no, do NOT say the S word. I just took you off ignore, please do not make me regret it! And, you denounced that saves were not the best analystic stat for a reliver in that "I have some things to say" thread. So you would be a hypocrite, and Old Fat Guy does not like hypocrites

Before the tiny melt down he had in Sept, Jerry Remy stated that Pap had the lowest ERA of any pitcher EVER with 200 or more innings. Let me say that word again EVER. EVER includes Cy Young, Walter Johnson......and K-Rod. No way Pap goes into the rotation. His 3rd pitch never developed (his slider is so-so) plus his makeup screams closer.

    Re: K-Rod to the sox

this has been a very comical read.

If the Sox sign K-Rod.....they should make HIM a starter, not Paps. I think K-Rod has great starter stuff personally.

    However,

the Sox shouldn't enter the bidding at all, very much agreed. You don't overpay for a closer hoping he'll convert to a quality starter.

For 15+ million dollars a year i would rather have Boston sign freaking Barry Bonds then sign K-Rod. Fransisco Rodriguez is even more overrated then Derek Jeter
