Haha, I just ran a 60 year sim on another baseball sim. Created an entirely fictional world with 24 teams, fictional players, with demographics (size of market, etc.) randomly created, etc, but with real team names.
After 60 years, only 1 of the 24 teams never won the championship, in fact, they never made the playoffs. That team?? The fictional Chicago Cubs.
Even in fictional worlds, the Cubs are doomed.![]()

Frankly, I had forgotten about Montreal's '93 win, or more likely it had never registered with me, since, for many, many years I lost interest in the game, completely (and merely lukewarm about it, now)
