I am DISGUSTED they are starting this game... they should have postponed it. It is going to end far to late at night (if you are on the east coast or central time zone) and how many people are going to get screwed out of seeing the game because they left/didn't go. and this is ONE time I am siding with the fans... this game should not be played

It's Saturday night. If you really want to watch the game, I don't think staying up late to do it is that big of a deal.....if they postponed the game, then there would be no off-day in between Game's 5 and 6...and THAT would be the bigger injustice.

and what about the people that routinly work in sunday, or the people that go to church at 7-8 in the AM?

why is it a bigger injustice... its like a 3 hour plane ride from philly to Tampa

and I was wrong about people there missing it.

and wtf are they talking aobut before the game... lol so if they dont follow the rulebook for Moyer he will do well but if they follow the rules (strikezone) then its going to be a long night that just seams funny. I understand exactly what they are talking about but still... it just sounded wierd

Well, the rain is giong to be an inconvenience no matter what, but if the choice is between starting the game late and losing some potential viewers OR postponing the game and making the teams play in back to back games with travel in-between.....I'll take the late start every single time. It's not as simple as "only a three hour plane ride," and it's certainly not worth doing that just to bump up the ratings for one game.

Yeah, it sucks to start late..but there is just no other option.

Philly could REALLY regret not scoring more there. Garza was clearly too amped up, just like in his last start in the first inning...in that game he got in a big-time groove.......
