Time to rekindle the UW-SU rivalry.

When I first read this I thought "Wow, I didn't even know they had a football team!"

Then I remembered that a) they didn't, and b) NCAAF changed its division nomenclature anyway.

Also, the chick that comes up on the front page of SU's volleyball webpage has a great body. I assume, not such a great face, though.

Anyway, it's cool to see more competition in college basketball. I wonder how the program will go...

It'll to fine. The Northwest has good basketball talent and it needs one or two good players to be good.

Saw the link about Pete Van Wieren, hate to hear he's calling it quits. Was surprised to hear he's "only" 64 though. I started listening to him and Ernie Johnson back in the late 70's, and Ernie called it quits several years ago. So I always just assumed that Pete was older too. Those guys were pros. Never was much of a Skip Caray fan though. I think he always had a chip on his shoulder about having to live in his father's shadow.
