Wow, USA got owned. So USA takes on the Dutch. That will be good, though I don't know if the Dutch can keep it up

"Manager Davey Johnson unexpectedly rejoined Team USA around game time and watched with a grimace as the Americans quickly fell behind. He had been scheduled to miss the game for the wedding of his stepson in St. Petersburg."

I think the priority the US give this event is reflected by their manager's decision to nearly skip this game to attend his stepson's wedding. Does this happen in a regular season MLB game?

NEVER. Let's continue to play the "We're the US, we're better than everyone" game and continue to get pummeled in this event.

Never mind, Lads, the U.S.A. team is doing quite well in the League of Nations tournament being played in the Dynasty forum!

If I am understanding you correctly, you are CRITIZICING the manager for almost missing the game in order to see his stepson get married? Seriously!

I wish Davey Johnson would've skipped the game, seeing as he's a crappy game manager.

Jeff Passan had a good article about it today:

So I'm watching Japan v Cuba and Daisuke looks really sharp. He's got a lot of movement on his pitches and he's locating very well.
