I love some of the reviews that book got...

1 Star- Left My Child Very Confused...
First of all, what's up with the apple on the cover of this book? My child now thinks that not just everyone, but everyTHING poops! I have explained to him at least 4 times now that no, apples do not poop, but he continues to tell his friends. The other day he saw a squirrel with an acorn, and he asked me if the acorn was tree poop. This book, while sort of funny, is obviously misleading. The illustrations also portray pooping to be a very jolly event, and my child, who I was trying to potty train at the time that I read him this book, think's it's very cute to poop in his pants, and everywhere else for that matter. I do not recommend this book to any parents trying to teach their child about potty training.
    1 Star- Ewwwww....
Honestly, if you're reading this book, you're in need of serious psychiatric help. This book should only be read by the most hard-core of poop fetishists, as it contains words that no self-respecting sailor would use. This is terrible. "POOP" STINKS
    And my favorite...

5 stars- I Stoop to Poop

This book rocks. I have never read such an intriging book on the stuff that comes out of the anus. I love having it read to me on Christmas morning. It is a great conversationalist piece, and fun for the whole family. By "Everyone poops" and it will surely become a family heir-loom!

Wow...having 'read' this book with my nieces and nephew (it's not much of a read...just page after page of various animals taking a dump, to show kids that they aren't the only ones who do it), I'm rather awestruck by that second one you quoted. How can a book contain words no self-respecting sailor would use when it basically CONTAINS NO WORDS?!

lol. Don't you know that when it comes to insulting something, there's no use for facts!

    Publisher Comments:
Finally, a beginning science book that really addresses the needs and interests of the very young child. Since we all eat, we all must poop. It is this basic message that this wonderful book presents in a form that is both humorous and informative.
    Review:
"Some adults may be squeamish about the facts of life so honestly confronted, but younger children will find their curiosity satisfied, and those in the throes of toilet training will appreciate the book's directness." Horn Book
    Review:
"Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi is part biology textbook, part sociological treatise and all celebration of a very natural process. Both my daughters begged me to read the book over and over again. They marveled at the enormity of the elephant's poop and searched with the skill of a scientist for the tiny specks which represent bug poop. The text is simple and straightforward but not without humor....A book which doesn't have any preachy overtones but merely explains where and how each living creature poops seems to work for my two-year-old. In fact, it's number one on the bathroom reading list at our house." Caroline Freibauer, The Expositor, January 28, 1995

    It actually got positive reviews?????

three words for you... naked hot chicks. It's Hollywood, so they can figure out a way to work some gratuitous nudity into it.

It will be a "sort" of mad-scientist movie with Beane being the "genius" good guy revolutionising baseball v the bad guys eg scouts/MLB establishment.

Sub-plots of "success" & "failure" of the Moneyball draftees - feel good for some (eg Swisher,Blanton & Teahan) & "bad"/failure for others (eg Steve Obenchain,'fat' Jeremy Brown & awful John McCurdy) inter-linked with the back-drop of the A's.

Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.
    Abraham Lincoln
