Hey, it is not their fault! The Sox are trying to win, and they have every reason too. And ignore ESPN they are idiots

Stop being an abnoxious poor loser, just because things aren't going your way. It is not Boston's fault, they are supposed to try and win. It just shows how great management they have had

Sorry ESPN feels the need to keep covering these guys who have the temerity to win World Series and stage historic comebacks...boy, that really sucks. Maybe if the NL teams wern't walking doormats, this wouldn't happen.

OMG! Think of it this way. Say you were on a team, and it was heading to its 10th straight WS or whatever. Would you purposely lose, or want your team to lose?

Re: If Boston wins the series...

So because a team wins two championships in four years, after winning none the prior 86 years, they should just call it good and not try to win any more? Oh, and they should trade away all their good players and intentionally draft poorly to make sure that they don't win.

    Yeah, that makes sense .

So metsguy, you're telling me if the Mets win two World Series in the next four years you wouldn't want them to go for another? You'd want them to just hang it up and let some else have their turn? Somehow I don't believe that.

And that applies to any fan of any team in any sport.

I do understand the "hatred" towards the Red Sox. If you're good people are gonna be jealous and they won't like you. But you guys can keep on b!tching about it and I'll just enjoy being a fan of a successful, championship winning team.

Well, the Rays will pull it out.

If they don't, the Sox will get SLAUGHTERED by Philadelphia.

MAN I hate the "haters" relax nothing was said about comparing them to anyone other than the teams in this decade
true. No one said dynasty. They are also in the MIDDLE of their run, so you have no idea what will happen in the next 4 to 6 years. They could do nothing, or they could win 4 or 5 in a row. We just don't know.

The Sox Slaughtered by Philly? Not gonna happen, I doubt there will be a sweep. Are you saying that Philly is amazing just because they won two series? They made the playoffs because the Mets started losing.

Yankees only have 1 title this decade. Sox have two.

    Sox win.
