Ok so as a Red Sox fan I often here about how the Sox "get it" and Build a team the right way via the farm system, despite the fact that they have Drew fro 14m, Bay taking Manny's 20M spot, and an 8M SS who's such a flop he isn't even playing, thier game one starter cost them 100M and They basically had to buy Beckett from Fla.

Yet the Phillies are a team Devoid of FA, in fact thier 1-5 hitters and games 1 and 2 Startes were all products of thier system (Well Victorino was plucked with a R5 draft, but no one else wanted him ....

So why not some love for the Phillies ... ? ...

The media (ESPN) hates the Phillies. I think the only Philadelphia team they actually like is the Eagles.

They don't like the fans. Always ripping on us. But we are some of the most passionate and knowledgeable out there (granted there are indeed some idiots).

I'm living it up these days. Go Phillies!
