    The Political Compass

I was recently reminded of this site: http://www.politicalcompass.org/index
If you do the test, keep in mind that the "Strongly Agree" and "Strongly Disagree" choices really emphasize "strongly", in their system. If you can think of any aspect of the question where you would or wouldn't take the view, then don't answer by using the "strongly" option...

Here's Mine. I also had to read the questions twice a couple times as the way they were worded made me think one thing and by rereading it I realized my response should be different.

Yea, you really need to spend some time analyzing the questions. Don't just answer right away.

Well, here's mine. Can't say I'm really particularly all that surprised.

I AMK actually a little surprised it ended up as far over there as it did. I find that, on most social issues, I'm actually VERY far to the left, while on most economic issues, I tend to skew the other way. There are exceptions, of course, but generally speaking, that's what happens.

Nah, we just happen to be up. Watching the Sox-Angels series unfold.

Tomorrow you'll have many more right-wing entries.

    ugh, don't remind me...

Really, we're all very centrist anyway, which is hardly surprising. Anti-authoritarian, too.

Interesting. Like RickD, I'm going to take it again tomorrow as well to see if my answers remain the same. I'd like to think so, but I'm a little tired as well.

    Re: The Political Compass

LOL, I'm going to be curious to see how I score tomorrow. I was raised in a very liberal household (they always have voted democrat and probably always will), so over time I've moved away from the far left little by little.

It's interesting though, because I've scored differently on the "World's Smallest Political Quiz":

I'm guessing it's because that one is so short and basic, and this quiz is more complex. Most people end up being scored as "libertarians" on the WSPQ, yet Libertarian candidates still end up with very small vote totals.

Good quiz though, thanks for the link ohms.
