    MLB replay

MLB replay finally overturns a call - that turned out to be meaningless.

Because the Rays beat the Twins 11-1, but, so?

It wasn't meaningless to Carlos Pena.

Nice to see a call reversed. I'm glad that we'll never again have home run calls that are botched.

Instant replay is quick, it's benevolent. It's a complete success so far, I believe.

It took 4 minutes to review the call. The affect of this on the game is not known.

And if there wasn't review, there would've been 4 minutes or more of arguing, that would likely have resulted in the incorrect call being held up. I'd rather seen 4 minutes spent getting the call right, than 4 minutes spent arguing and the call remaining wrong. The cries of "Instant replay will slow the game down so much!" are simply unfounded.

That is the downside of instant replay; the wait. But the posites overpoer the negatives

As I said above, the "wait" is no more, and may even be less, than the "wait" of arguing a disputed call, so, that "downside" is negated by that.

Arguing can be fun to watch though

I dunno, I have a hard time finding anything compelling about adults whining and sniveling like a 4 year old.

Besides, the replay "wait" is more exciting -everybody knows what the outcome of an arguing "wait" is bound to be...

That is the fun of it, seeing adults act so stupid
