Of course... it's just that, actually watching the games, the Dodgers aren't just winning. Their beating the pants off the Cubs.

Yep, short series! lol Ryan Dempster couldn't find the plate, and in this game, the Cubs fielding was atrocious.

The Cubs just aren't playing like they did for most of the regular season. They're playing in a completely opposite way, really.

That's what I'm really getting at. They have to be... geez.

It's not like the Angels - Sox, for example. Yea, the Sox won... but the Angels played their game. They just lost. That's short series.
This right now though, there's no way that this is the Cubs that won the National League! There's no way this is the Dodgers that were actually one of the worst teams in the league.

Of course, as I'm saying all of this the Cubbies are putting a good rally together.
    lol

It is important to note that this Dodgers team is substantially better than the team that they fielded for most of the season.

    Whew!

That was one of the more nerve wracking 7 run wins I've been involved in in a while.

    Two down, one to go.

No, I meant the thing about the ball going into the vines in the outfield...

the Dodgers played at a 90 win pace with Manny, and those games with Manny didn't include Furcal also. Suffice to say, this Dodgers team is one we haven't seen before. Might as well throw that stuff out the window.

The Dodgers, while not that great of a team in the full package, are built for the post-season. 2 dominant frontline starters, a solid #3, terrific bullpen, decent power up and down the order, and 2 superstars at their positions (manny and Martin, could argue Furcal too). They didn't have the depth or timing to make a big splash in the regular season, but that team is front loaded enough to play dominant baseball in the short series.

As far as this series, well they lose one game because they don't get any effective starting pitching. They lost today because they committed 4 errors. You just can't have those kind of problems and win in the post-season.

Stayed up til 1AM this morning watching the game so my butt is dragging a bit today, but it was worth it. Still need one more to move on though.

So, game one the Cubs were wild, game two they could not field. Game 3, lets see, I guess maybe they will be no hit?

maybe they'll no-hit the dodgers and still lose. The dodgers have proved this year that they don't need hits to win.
