If he was on an AL team, he'd be a good player to DH once in awhile like the Brewers did with Brooks Kieschnick a few years ago (when he was a pitcher).

It'd be interesting, but I wouldn't try it with Zambrano. If given even semi-regular time hitting, teams would find his weakness. He swings at EVERYTHING. He's walked 5 times in his career in 487 at bats, striking out 171 times. He's a good hitter for a pitcher, especially in the power department, having an otherworldly season, but not in line with his previous years offensively.

True... I should have mentioned only if they had no other worthy candidates to DH. Plus, I wouldn't want to risk an injury just having him swing for the fences.

I am anti-Chicago. I do not like either team. I like the Brewers, but not like they are one of my favorites

How did Chicago ever do ANYTHING to you? The Windy City is a wonderful city (I've never been there, but I'd love to go)

Derek Jeter and Mariano Rivera never did anything to you, but yet you hate them with a passion great enough to stop watching baseball if they ever get rightfully honored for their performance. It's called irrationality.

I am not irrational, I just don't like Chicago because this kid I used to know was abnoxious about Chicago and was so annoying. i hate the White Sox because of Ozzie Guillien and AJ Perzynski
