Personally, I am less upset about the hit than the fact that he was even playing. Things like that hit happen in FB and it sucks when it is your star player. It is my opinion that if he had been 100% he MAY have dodged that hit, perhaps not. I just don't think they needed him to beat the Chiefs and he probably should have been given another week to recuperate.

Hard to monday morning QB that one! Had they not started Brady and lost....it would be damage control time, questioning of Belichek and of Brady's desire. More importantly, it would be a loss in what is always a tough and unpredictable NFL season. Every game is a must win, and if you go in saying..ah we can beat these guys no problems..and bench your best players who may be nursing injuries, you are playing with fire.
