    You were right.

The D'Backs odds are 78.7%. The Dodgers, 16.7%, and the Rockies, 4.6%.
Thanks. I would have looked but was afraid to.

So, the Dodgers won tonight, soundly. Not that much of a surprise, since Billingsley was countering Harden, which is an even pitching matchup. But I assumed playing at Chase would favor the home team.

Tomorrow night's game is definitely the most important game the Dodgers have played all season, and may have more playoff implications than any game played in the entire majors, all season, so far. If I had to choose a guy to put on the mound for a game of this importance, Lowe would be the guy, so it's good that he's up for the Dodgers.

I seriously think a loss Sunday night will all but eliminate the Dodgers from contention, where a win will put them right back in it.

My guess on BP's playoff odds is that the Dodgers are around 19% after tonight's win, and will be around 26 or 27% if they win tomorrow night. A loss would probably drop them to about 14%. I'm a big poker guy, I can feel these numbers.

    Go Blue.

PS: Dear Joe Torre, please bat Kemp and Loney 1-2 tomorrow night.

Looks like L.A. is putting the beat down on Webb, 6-0 still in the 4th.

    EDIT: 8-0.

It would be sweet to beat Haren and Webb on successive nights.

I think its obvious what happened here. The Dodgers obviously saw this thread in the forum & said what the hell, bbm is counting us out already?

Now they're on a mission to prove bbm wrong

You know, I'm slightly embarrassed to admit this, but...
The Angels are, as of tonight, 17.5 games up on the second place Rangers. I've basically lost all interest in the season.

I can't wait for the playoffs to begin, though.

You have K-Rod's record chase...although, that is pretty much inevitable.

    meh...

personal records are interesting to me after the fact, but watching them "happen"... *shrug*

Besides, it's Saves. Not really that big of a deal, to me. Scioscia trusts him, and that's cool and all, but... meh.

I'd think your possibly losing home field advantage and who you may play in the playoffs would be interesting.

And despite the regular season dominance of the Red Sox, I wouldn't think the Angels would be in a hurry to meet them as hot as they are right now.
