I've got Smoltz, I've seen Glavine a few times. To see Maddux, in Blue, getting a win would be sweet.

And Stults when he comes back in September. And James McDonald when he joins the team in a couple weeks. And even the bullpen.

Having Maddux on your team is almost like automatically having the best pitching coach in baseball.

I thought of that today. It'd be worth Maddux, but I'm thinking it's probably more along the lines of mid-level prospects. Though the fact that San Diego is putting a little money into the deal could mean a guy like Stults is packing his bags.

I read something somewhere about San Diego picking a few players from a list.
