If the Boston Braves hadn't left Boston, what would have become of them? This dynasty began in 1953 and as of this writing, is into the 1970s. Not simply a recounting of game results, the dynasty featured a cast of characters and focused on personalities as well as gameplay. Many other dynasty writers would borrow elements from this dynasty and take dynasty writing into a whole new era.

In 1969 the Kansas City Royals joined the Majors under rookie GM Chuck Hunter. For 4 1/2 years they struggled to survive in the face of politics, blackmail, betrayal and an overwhelming Oakland team.

Featuring strong characterization and attention to setting, "To Rule in KC" added a storyline to Baseball Mogul.
