End of the season. I'll make a post.
End of the season. I'll make a post.
What will you do with obvious BS votes? Like, let's say my ballot looked like:
MVP: Andre Ethier
Cy Young: Chad Billingsley
Gold Gloves: James Loney, Jeff Kent, Angel Berroa, Blake DeWitt, etc.
Rookie of the Year: Blake DeWitt
etc...
Im hoping there won't be enough for that person to win.
Back at this dynasty thing again: Resurrecting The Rockies: 2001 Onward
I suppose, now that I think about it, Kuroda has a very good case for ROTY, so I may vote for him. How will we handle Japanese vets? I'd guess we're allowed to vote for them and it will be the discretion of the voters at large, as some may choose not to vote for a foreign vet for ROTY.
Because it's all Dodgers? And because Andre Ethier is clearly not the MVP by any definition? And same for Chad Billingsley being the Cy Young?
Anyway, I think I need to make this clear, because I've been getting some votes already, heh, VOTING HAS NOT BEGUN. There's still 3 weeks left to the season, and that must be counted for in the voting.
Well, I'll probably vote all Tigers. Don't throw away my ballot.
Why must you be purposefully difficult?
I guess I was wrong in assuming that people would have enough decency to vote with as little bias as possible.
I've editted the number of slots on the ballot for each award.
The MVP award has a 10 slot ballot, corresponding to real life. A first place vote is worth 14 points, 2nd place is 9 points, 3rd place is 8, and so on down to 10th place being 1 point.
The Cy Young and Rookie of the Year award now have 3 slot ballots, as in real life. A first place vote is 5 points, a second place vote 3, and a third place vote 1. The same structure is in effect for each other 3-ballot award, which is every award except for the MVP.
