    Yeah....if he has a few more seasons like this one though I'd say no. I like Cano but he has dissapointed this season.

    Even as a Sox fan, I'd be happy to see Bernie Williams get his jersey retired. I have tons of respect for him.

    Jeter is a shoo-in.

    Even if 42 weren't already retired, it would be.

    I just went back and looked...I didn't realize Goose played that many years for the Yankees. I always think of him with the A's, mostly because I was too young to pay attention before that. My only thought of Goose with the Yankees is "pine tar."

    Even posada is possibly a stretch to more likely than bernie

    Only Bill Veeck, and only once. I don't think anyone's likely to bring up a 3-foot-tall player again, either.

    I find it highly unlikely that any team will retire 75 numbers (the amount they'd need to get to to keep from having a full roster's worth). Not any time in the forseeable future.
