Two homers last night - and a steal. The guy has a heck of a swing. He had to change jersey numbers, from 38 to 44, because of the Big Schil? According to one source, Schilling offered to sell his #38 for a fee (to go to charity). Wonder why that didnt work out...

He seems to be fitting in well, and thanks to Youk being hot as heck, he can get some good swings as #5.

Agreed. Plus doing something like this (selling your jersey # to a new teammate) is very common in all sports, especially fball

And, while I don't always agree with Schilling, thank goodness there are still a few guys out there whose every friggin' answer isn't stupid athlete cliches. "We gave it 110%...they made the most of their chances..." Ugh.
