Yeah I just read a SI article from a few months back and Hamilton mentioned his wife but not God. Obviously doesn't do it in EVERY interview!

I don't think it "should" or "shouldn't" be anything. Like others have already mentioned on here, it's OK to disagree. In fact, it's a good thing. Even if Josh Hamilton brought up God, said his favorite Bible verse, crossed himself, and encouraged everybody at home to build a better relationship with Jesus Christ, I wouldn't have complained about it either.
The fact that a lot of people didn't give any thought at all to this sort of thing at all until it was brought up on the forum here speaks volumes. ("Oh, he talked about God? You're right, he did!!!!! That changes EVERYTHING!!!!!111oneone") My pulse rate doesn't increase when Josh Hamilton talks about God. I'm secure enough in everything I believe (or don't believe) in life that it doesn't affect me when somebody talks about something I may not share a belief in, especially when I have a choice not to subject myself to it. (Even though it is the opposite where I enjoy discussing or debating alternating viewpoints. After all, none of us know everything.)
To me, it was a wonderful interview of somebody who's been through a lot and has made it out alive and almost won the Home Run Derby, you know, the reason he was there. That's gotten lost in all of this just because he brought up God, which to me, is that "fill in the blank" thing.

I don't think he should be encouraging anyone to get to know Christ or anything like that but stating his personal views is what the media is all about. Shouldn't this part of the conversation really be in the other thread?
He can say whatever he wants. There's that little thing you Yanks call Freedom of Speech, or is that not still part of the American Constitution?

The Home Run Contest is getting to be too much like the NBA's Slam Dunk Contest ... the guys the fans want to see don't want to do it or there is a stupid rule about eligibility which keep outtheguys who want to do it.
A-Rod's swing get messed up by doing what? Swinging his bat at thrown balls? Dude, you get more messed up getting divorced by your wife who is going to take you to the bank and ****ing around with Madonna.
