    Too easy for Lefties?

    http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news?slu...ns%20prize%20t

The real question: Did we really need a professor to tell us these things?

Doesn't a professor have better things to do than this? Maybe a cure for cancer or solving world hunger.

...dude is an aircraft engineer, so he's probably a professor in aerodynamics or engineering...not exactly someone I want messing around with cancer research.

Didn't see the engineer part, just saw the professor part. Still he should still have better things to do like building stuff.

I think he just had an interest in baseball and wrote this more for people who like the game but are more casual fans. For the casual fan, things that we take as obvious, aren't.

I just read that. Kinda interesting. Try being a lefty and play SS. I did in little league for a game, hard to make that throw. I always wanted to be a SS when I was a kid, but I was a lefty. Options were limited, so in LL I played 2B, CF and P. I could make that throw easier from 2nd than from SS. I played 3B for a couple of games and that was the worst throw.

Hey, second is a **** important position...
You insist that there is something a machine cannot do. If you will tell me precisely what it is that a machine cannot do, then I can always make a machine which will do just that! -J. von Neumann
