I have it on good authority that Chacon was a law-abiding citizen, and was a Big Brother, when not helping rebuild burnt-down churches
Then Giambi slipped him a little something...ever since, the guy is nuts.
Ha ha....yeah but even Giambi has not choked his GM!
Talk about a guy absolutely losing his freakin' mind. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Wow. You have it all. You're a major league starting pitcher with great stuff, and are making $2 million to play a kid's game. Then you make one stupid decision, and it's all gone. You Mr. Chacon are indeed an idiot.
Any boss that has to cuss and yell at employees doesn't deserve to be a boss in the first place. If my boss was to sit and cuss me we would have a big problem because at some point the old 9mm would be pointing at his forehead before he finished. My momma doesn't cuss me, I'll be damned if some else does.
He still might get a job if someone is desperate for some pitching. Sprewell signed with New York after his choking with Carlisimo. Though Sprewell is better than Chacon.
Only if Sprewell would have choked harder, the Sonics would not have such a shitty coach.
The big difference in the two situations...Sprewell was an All Star caliber player. Chacon is an inconsistent pitcher.
Wade apparently gave Chacon the chance to speak privately, suggesting they go in to a nearby office. Chacon refused. If he was afraid of getting embarrassed, I don't really understand his choice of staying in a public area.
