How is Baseball Tonite east-coast biased???

Watching it now, 22 mins in, 1 quick set of a highlights of the Red Sox game and the Yankee game (Met game not even mentioned yet).

Rays, Astros, Reds, Cardinals, among many others have been mentioned.

Now they're showing a Gabe Gross highlight reel. Yes, a Gabe Gross highlight reel.

    How are they east-coast biased?????????

    Edit-

12:31 :Indians, Padres, Orioles, Brewers, spotlight on CC Sabathia's great game, still no Mets coverage/ extended Yanks or Sox coverage
12:34: Mariners/Braves game, CC free agent speculation, still no East Coast

They are. I've recognized it in full blast, I just can't really think of specific examples.

Re: How is Baseball Tonite east-coast biased???

There's no "East Coast bias." It's just something people like to create when they feel like they're getting shaft.

But, most people usually talk about ESPN as a whole having the bias, not Baseball Tonight specifically. I've never heard that criticism about it.

However, the Red Sox and Yankees do generally get more airplay, simply because, they have more fans, and since the media is a business, that sells.

It gets annoying that the Red Sox are on ESPN for every Monday night game, but, people just need to understand that ESPN is a business and wants to make money, and the easiest way to do that is to broadcast that which makes the most money, and there's no denying that the east coast juggernauts generate more money than the rest of the teams.

West-Coast fans are lucky that their games aren't on ESPN. because ESPN's broadcaster suck.

I just turn volume down and turn on the Red Sox radio station whenever I get stuck listening to Morgan and Miller, or McCarver in Fox's case.

I know, Miller and Morgan and McCarver are really annoying. I would be happy to be ignored by Fox and ESPN, but alas, My Red sox are on those channels to much instead of awesome NESN, and I dont get my rockies games on TV.
