Not to nitpick, but he did win a division title in '82 with a very average Atlanta team, and he almost won another one in '83. That's not to say that he had an especially impressive managerial resume, but it's not exactly NOTHING.

If your favorite team won last year's championship, then you can brag. Anything older than that and its not worth hearing about. Likely a good portion of the players from a team 2-3 years ago are different now.
